A roof system is only as good as the gutters that drain it. Without properly sized, properly pitched gutters and downspouts, water concentrates at the eaves, rots your fascia and soffit, undermines your foundation, and floods your landscaping. Bork Nampa Roofing installs seamless aluminum gutters as a complete extension of the roofing systems we replace — and as standalone projects when your existing gutters are failing.
Why Seamless Aluminum
We install seamless K-style and half-round gutters fabricated on-site in heavy-gauge .032 inch aluminum. “Seamless” means the gutter is rolled out as one continuous piece for each side of your home — no joints, no leak points, no rusty seams that fail every five years.
The .032 inch thickness matters too. Most big-box and low-end installers use .025 inch aluminum, which dents under the slightest impact and warps under heavy snow loads. The Canyon County climate punishes thin gutters. We use the heavier gauge as our standard, no upgrade required.
Sizing & Layout
Most Nampa-area homes do well with 5-inch K-style gutters and 2-inch by 3-inch downspouts. For larger roof areas, complex multi-plane roofs, or homes with significant snow load, we recommend 6-inch K-style gutters and 3-inch by 4-inch downspouts — they handle nearly twice the water volume and significantly reduce overflow during heavy spring rain or rapid snowmelt.
Downspout placement is engineered for each home. We never just put a downspout at every corner — we calculate the actual drainage area each downspout needs to handle and place them accordingly. Discharge points are routed away from the foundation using extensions or buried drain lines.
Optional Micro-Mesh Gutter Guards
If your Nampa home is surrounded by mature trees, pine, or cottonwoods, micro-mesh gutter guards are a worthwhile upgrade. Unlike the cheap plastic mesh sold at hardware stores, the surgical stainless micro-mesh we install fits tightly to the gutter, blocks even fine debris like pine needles and seed pods, and is rated to handle high-volume flow without water sheeting over the top.
Gutter guards add roughly $5 to $9 per linear foot to a standard installation but can eliminate gutter cleaning entirely for the life of the system.
Color Matching & Aesthetics
Our seamless gutters come in 30-plus baked enamel colors, so we can match almost any roof, fascia, or trim color exactly. For historic homes in downtown Nampa or Caldwell that need a more traditional look, we also offer half-round profile gutters and copper accent options.
What To Expect
Most full-home gutter installations take 4 to 8 hours and are completed in a single day. Pricing typically runs between $1,200 and $4,500 depending on linear footage, the number of stories, complexity, and whether gutter guards are included.
